Make-up
FX and prosthetics have been created for films and TV shows to create
demons, monsters and horrific scarring. A prosthetic mask was created
this year for Derren Browns' Trick or Treat, and applied
to an actress to fool a victim into believing they had seen their
own dying body in a car accident (top left). Basic make-up effects
techniques were used in Dirty Sanchez: The Movie to
give a comical 'fresh burn' look to the four main cast members (top
right).
