A
two part plastic is tinted to get a basic flesh tone, and is
then mixed and poured into the mould. While the plastic is liquid,
it is slushed around the surface of the silicone to form a skin
of plastic around 5mm thick, and is then left to harden. When
the plastic is cured, the silicone is peeled back once again
to reveal the casting, and special care is taken not to snap
the tips of the fingers.
