| Each
of the castings are painted using a variety of pigments and colour
washes. The finishing touches are added when the model is on site
to ensure that the animatronic stands out against it's background.
The mechanisms are tested and a program of syncronised movement
and sound is written to drive the animatronic, and servo driven
eye mechanisms are fitted to the fibre glass skull. |

A
fibre glass shell is constructed to support the weight of the
6ft long silicone neck. For safety reasons, the teeth (some
of which measure more than 6 inches in length) are cast out
of a 2 part semi-rigid foam. The teeth are painted with yellows
and browns and even small chips and cracks are added for realism. |
