As 'Bigfoot' is reported to have human-like ears, clay coloured rubber castings are taken from the ear moulds created for a previous project so Tom doesn't have to sculpt these complicated forms, leaving more time to work on the Bigfoot sculpt itself. These rubber ears are placed onto the model and Tom blends the clay onto the edge of the castings. After a few days meticulous sculpting, Tom has completed the sculpture and has added fine wrinkles and folds of soft flesh to the face.
